Here at the Clayhanger Guest House, we have a wealth of local amenities. We are situated within the historic market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme. A variety of shops, bars and restaurants are located within walking distance. Visit the world famous Alton Towers, or one of the nearby historic villages such as Barlaston, where you will find the Wedgwood visitor Centre.

Clayhanger is only a short distance from the Potteries Shopping Centre and even closer to the Festival Park. You will find shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues such as 10-pin bowling, cinema, and Waterworld.

A two minutes stroll away you will find Staffordshire’s first theatre in the round, where you will be able to see a variety of shows. We also border the Brampton conservation area, that has its own museum, art gallery and gardens.

Clayhanger is located in a very good area for both business and leisure guests. We will always be able to provide you with information on the local area, and are able to provide a wide range list of local places to visit.
